The senior averaged 17 points and seven rebounds per game last year. She is the first Cabarrus County girls' player to score 1000 points as a junior. She was also named the MVP of the state championship game in 2008.
“Nyshia is the most talented yet hardest working player I have ever coached," said Concord coach Angela Morton. "Her ability to score off the dribble and make plays for her teammates sets her apart in the women's game."
