Robinson pitcher commits to Winthrop

Jay M. Robinson pitcher Dallas King verbally committed to Winthrop University last night.

The rising senior went 16-5 with a 1.37 ERA while also hitting .380 for her Bulldog team. King also plays for the Carolina Angels, a Fort-Mill based showcase team where she is one of the top players this summer.

King is a two-time All-South Piedmont Conference and all-state selection with a 38-9 record in the past two seasons. She also has a 4.4 grade-point average in the classroom.
