Northwest Cabarrus' Corey Seager was named the 3A Player of the Year by the N.C. Baseball Coaches Association. Seager, the No. 18 overall pick in MLB draft by the L.A. Dodgers, was also the
N.C. Gatorade player of the year. Seager hit .519 with 10 home run and 37 RBIs.
Jay M. Robinson pitcher Brody Koerner, who's will play at Clemson next year, was also named to the 3A all-state team.
