The N.C. High School Athletic Association released its boys' soccer playoffs Monday morning and five South Piedmont Conference teams made it into the postseason.
First-round games have to be played by Wednesday. Here are the match-ups for local teams (in bold):
No. 4 Northwest Cabarrus at No. 1 Statesville
No. 3 Hickory Ridge at No. 2 Berry Academy
No. 4 North Forsyth at No. 2 Jay M. Robinson
No. 5 Morehead at No. 1 Central Cabarrus
No. 5 Cox Mill at No. 1 Charlotte Catholic
