The Spiders pulled of a huge upset in Kannapolis and take home the bell for the first time since 2006. After starting the season 0-6, Concord won five straight to finish 5-6 (5-2 South Piedmont Conference) and earn a No. 8 seed in the NCHSAA 3A playoffs.
