Jay M. Robinson High School hosted the second Bulldog Duals wrestling tournament Saturday, which featured 18 teams from around the state, including six teams from the South Piedmont Conference.
Robinson made it to the finals of the tournament, where they lost to Davie County 42-28. The tournament featured six preliminary and final pools with three teams each. The 2-0 teams from the top two final pools wrestled for the championship.
Cox Mill won their first wrestling match as a school with a 54-27 preliminary win against South Point. They finished 12th overall.
Northwest Cabarrus finished sixth and Concord finished seventh after beating Independence 48-36. Central Cabarrus ended up in 14th and A.L. Brown finished 17th.
