Football scores: Oct. 30

Cox Mill 30, Central Cabarrus 13

Cox Mill wins the schools first ever football game. Now they face their old school Northwest Cabarrus in their final game Friday.

Concord 33, Hickory Ridge 20
Concord freshman quarterback B.J. Beecher threw for 337 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win. The Spiders have won four straight and are looking hot coming into Friday's rivalry game against A.L. Brown.

Jay M. Robinson 28, Mount Pleasant 25
Bulldogs have won three straight and are now in a three-way tie for second in the conference.

A.L. Brown 35, Northwest Cabarrus 21
Brown makes a second-half comeback and clinches the South Piedmont Conference title.

First Assembly 40, Northside Christian 14
First Assembly finishes the regular season undefeated. They will face Asheville School in the first round of the NCISAA 3A playoffs.
